Manifesto

Do you ever take a deep breath in the discomfort of your cubicle and reminisce about the time you threw a party and stationed a pony keg in the midget cave out by the train tracks for when the keg in the midget cave simulator (the short closet under the stairs) went dry? If you're anything like me, you do. And you think: shit, I'm getting old. But I'm not too old to create more reminiscing fodder for the times when I actually am too wise and elderly for a wild jam. A lot of people ask me when the next Mind Zap is going to happen and the answer is always "I don't know." I don't think another one can happen without some kind of funding, and that kind of thing always approaches lame territory. So, I put these two thoughts together and came up with the Micro Zap. The idea is to have a monthly Zappening where friends get together do something worth remembering. There are two rules: one, it's gotta be something you wouldn't normally, sometimes ever, do; and two, it must be hammjamm-level fun. Now, I know pretty much all of these Micro Zaps will come off as weird and/or ridiculous, so if you don't think it sounds like fun, don't participate. The Micro Zap is a full-on No Harsh Zone. Maybe what's going on the next month will sound fun to you.
